Q: Is this a one-time fee or do I pay every month?

Q: Is this targeted at a special age group?
While the training programs are categorized based on age (U16, U18 and U20 & Older), that's more for clarity purposes than anything else. Regardless of age, a beginner to proper strength training methods would start with the U16 program and then move on from there.
You can use this training system to gain strength, speed and power for hockey, no matter whether you're 15 or 50.
Q: Do I need any kind of special equipment?
Not really. Since most exercises will be performed with barbells, dumbbells and your own bodyweight, access to a regular gym or a well-equipped home gym is all you need.
Q: Are these workouts only for the off-season?
No. While they're designed to work optimally during the off-season that allows for more training volume and frequency in the gym, you can still follow them to get better during hockey season.
The U16 and U18 training programs can be used with slight modifications (which I address in the Main Manual) in-season depending on how much time you spend on the ice.
